Whop's fee page lists no subscription and no separate platform fee: you pay card processing of 2.7% + $0.30 per payment, plus 1.5% for international cards and 1% when currency conversion applies. A $25 sale leaves you $24.02 from a US card and $23.64 from a card abroad. Billing, orchestration and tax tools add 0.5%, 0.8% and 2% when switched on, and each withdrawal costs from $2.50 by next-day ACH to $23 by bank wire.
You keep $1,197 a month, 95.7% of $1,250 in payments.

Whop's fee page lists no subscription and no platform fee beyond processing, so none is counted here. Its API documentation does name a ledger line for one, without a rate: “whop_processing_fee A platform fee for using whop.com, not tied directly to processing cost.” If Whop charges it on your account, it will show in your balance as its own line.

- ACH debit: 1.5% of a payment from a US bank account, at most $5.
- Pay later: 15% of a payment made through a financing partner. “Let your customers pay over time with Klarna, Afterpay, and more.”
- Disputes: $15 per chargeback.
- Tax: “The two managed options each cost 2% per transaction. “I’ll handle tax myself” has no Whop tax fee.”
- Marketplace affiliates: “After you list your product, any affiliate in Whop’s network can promote it for a default 30% commission without extra setup.”
- The Whop iOS app: “Apple processes all one-time purchases under USD 700 made through the Whop iOS app with its in-app purchasing system.” “Apple charges a 30% fee on these purchases.” “To keep creators’ earnings at 100%, Whop automatically increases the price of one-time products under USD 700 on the iOS app only.” Subscriptions are exempt: “Whop’s web checkout system processes these purchases without the 30% App Store fee.”

Whop's fee page prices a card payment at 2.7% + $0.30 for a domestic card, $0.98 of a $25 sale (3.9%) and $3 of a $100 one. International cards add 1.5% and currency conversion 1%. With every optional tool on and tax collected, Whop's own total is 6% + $0.30: $6.30 of $100.
Are Whop's fees lower than Stripe's?
Whop lists 2.7% + $0.30 for domestic cards. Stripe's own rate isn't on Whop's page; Buy Me a Coffee and Substack, which both run on Stripe, quote Stripe's US card rate as 2.9% + $0.30. On a $25 payment that's $0.98 on Whop against $1.03, before anything else either charges.
What are Whop's withdrawal fees?
Per payout: next-day ACH $2.50, instant bank deposit (RTP) 4% + $2.50, crypto 5% + $1, Venmo 5% + $2.50 and bank wire $23; local bank transfers outside the US vary by country. A $1,000 withdrawal costs $2.50 (next-day ACH), $42.50 (instant bank deposit (RTP)), $51 (crypto), $52.50 (Venmo) and $23 (bank wire). The minimum withdrawal is $10 where it applies. Whop's payout docs add: “Standard payouts take up to 5 business days.” Its fee page puts no price on those.
What are Whop's marketplace fees?
Whop's docs name no marketplace cut of its own. Products listed on the Whop marketplace can be promoted by Whop's global affiliates: “After you list your product, any affiliate in Whop’s network can promote it for a default 30% commission without extra setup.” Whop's docs define the rate: “Global Affiliate Rate – The percentage of each sale paid to affiliates who haven’t purchased a membership from your business.” 30% is the default, which you can change.
Does Whop charge a monthly fee?
Its fee page lists none: Whop prices each payment and each payout instead, and says “This pricing applies to new merchants that sign up today.” Optional tools are charged per payment when you switch them on, not by the month.
Is Whop cheaper than Gumroad, Patreon or Skool?
On the fees each lists, yes. For 50 sales of $25 a month Whop leaves $1,201, Gumroad $1,049 and Patreon $1,074; for 100 members at $10, Whop $943, Skool $861 (Hobby) and Patreon $841. Payout fees aside, which differ by method.
